Stipend awards of up to $15,000
Supported by the Caring for Denver Foundation, this program provides a stipend of $7,500 to participate in the following during Spring 2025: clinical internship in Denver managed through your department; 1-on-1 support from a Behavioral Health Career Navigator; workshops; professional development opportunities; and the opportunity to meet regularly with a mentor.
In order to be eligible for the Building Denver’s Mental Health Workforce program, you need to meet the following criteria:
Be a Graduate Student in the final year of your program in either MSU Denver’s MSW program or the MS in Clinical Behavioral Health program.
Be in a clinical internship located within the City and County of Denver.
Be willing to commit to attending the following in Spring 2025: five 2-hour workshops, the Navigate Your Health Career Summit (Feb. 21), a kickoff event on March 6th, and health scholars completion ceremony on May 2 or 3.
Commit to working in a clinical behavioral health role in an organization in the City and County of Denver for at least 6 months after your graduation.
